A Novel Design of LLC Resonant Converter for Wide Output Voltage Range

چکیده

The LLC resonant converter has been widely used as a dc-dc converter. It is one of the most efficient solution for designing wide output voltage switched-mode power supplies (SMPSs).A Novel design procedure for LLC resonant converter to obtain wide load range has been presented in this paper. For wide output range applications, large values of converter inductance ratio and Switching Frequency are needed. These parameters should be optimized simultaneously. The optimum dead time value and maximum switching frequency are key factors in design and analysis. Synchronous Rectification is used here to improve overall efficiency of operation and provide a controllable output. This work aims to develop a design procedure to obtain wide output range LLC resonant converter utilizing synchronous rectification technique. It ensures wide output voltage range with improved of efficiency in performance and operation compared to existing diode rectification method.
